1st + 2nd Line Engineer - PRINCE2, PMI, IT systems

£20 - £28k DOE + Benefits - Colchester, Essex

 

CloudScope are looking for a 1st and 2nd Line Engineer to join an IT solutions company based in Colchester. Founded in 2010 they work in a collaborative way with clients to ensure business success by providing reliable IT solutions.

You will be coordinating the day-to-day IT technical helpdesk support activities to ensure calls are logged and managed correctly. Minimising customer downtime is a must, therefore you will also be controlling the asset management function of customers' equipment and create, manage and deliver projects in line with agreed project plan milestones.

 

The Role

Creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical support documentation and monthly helpdesk reports

Supporting the technical team, conducting housekeeping and installation work if needed

Training helpdesk users to provide high levels of customer service

Managing and delivering client projects in line with agreed milestones

 

 

The Candidate


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a technical engineer
  • Ideally Microsoft certification to MCSA level
  • Prior experience delivering detailed helpdesk reports or similar
  • Knowledge of team management

Salary: £20 - £28k DOE

Working Hours: 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday

Location: Colchester, Essex

Commute: Ipswich, Felixstowe, Clacton-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Braintree, Sudbury, Harwich
