About the Role

.NET Developer | £40,000 – £50,000 | Norwich Outskirts

Stop Blending In. Start Leading Projects.

Most .NET roles keep you hidden in the background, churning through tickets on legacy systems while someone else makes all the decisions. This isn't one of those roles.

We are partnering with a highly established business on the outskirts of Norwich to find a .NET Developer who wants real ownership. This is an opportunity to step out of the shadows, manage your own sub-projects, and build systems that have a direct impact on business operations.

Why this role is different

  • End-to-End Ownership: You won't just be writing code in a silo. You will manage projects (up to 20 days in scope) from the initial concept and specification right through to final handover and user support.

  • A Pathway to Senior: This role actively encourages you to step up. You will assist team members and deputize for the Senior Analyst Programmer, giving you the leadership exposure you need to advance your career.

  • Modern Tech & Autonomy: While you'll have a strong foundation in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and Azure, you are also encouraged to explore opportunities to improve efficiencies. This environment values developers who bring fresh ideas to the table.

The Practical Benefits

  • Salary: £40k – £50k.

  • Tech Exposure: Work with a core stack of Visual Studio, MS SQL, and Azure, with the highly desirable opportunity to touch AI Development Tools, Power Platform, Maui, and mobile environments (Android/iOS).

  • Influence: You aren’t just building what you’re told; you will actively look for ways IT can improve the wider business's effectiveness.

  • Stability & Standards: Join a team that values clean, well-documented code, adequate testing, and continuous improvement of department standards.

What you bring to the table

You are an experienced developer confident in an MS Windows environment, writing robust code in C#/VB and ASP.NET. You understand Microsoft SQL, Azure, and HTML. More importantly, you are an eager learner and a natural team player who can communicate technical concepts to users at all levels of a business.
