Location: Outskirts of Norwich

Salary Range: £45,000 - 65,000 DOE

Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and scalability of our client's infrastructure. You will be responsible for automating processes, managing CI/CD pipelines, administering cloud platforms, and maintaining secure and efficient Linux-based systems. Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Jenkins
• Strong understanding of AWS services and CloudFormation
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in Linux system administration
• Commitment to following best practices in DevOps methodologies

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to manage and provision resources using CloudFormation (30%)
• Oversee the configuration and optimization of Jenkins pipelines for efficient software delivery (30%)
• Ensure the security and stability of Linux-based systems through proactive administration and monitoring (20%)
• Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters to support scalable application deployments (10%)
• Administer cloud environments, implementing security measures and optimizing resource utilization (10%)
• Adhere to established DevOps practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation
