Position Available: Managing Director (Remote First) - East Midlands Digital Marketing Firms
We are recruiting for a Managing Director to lead two ambitious digital marketing companies based in the East Midlands. This remote-first role offers an opportunity to drive the growth and operational excellence of both firms, each with a strong reputation and plans to scale.
Role Overview
As Managing Director, you will steer the overall business direction, overseeing daily operations, shaping growth strategies, and maximising revenue across both organisations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure high standards across all areas, including paid media, SEO, social media, and content marketing, while also managing key client relationships, setting objectives, and leading a skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support teams across both companies to deliver outstanding results for clients.
- Design and implement growth strategies to scale each business.
- Manage budgets, P&L, and performance metrics.
- Set high standards for digital marketing services, from PPC to SEO.
- Promote a remote-first culture that enables collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Represent the companies at industry events, conferences, and in key client meetings.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a Managing Director role within a digital marketing agency.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies.
- Experience managing or overseeing multiple business units.
- Skilled in team leadership, with the ability to guide diverse, remote teams.
- Strategic, results-driven, and adaptable, with a focus on growth.
- Ideally located in or willing to travel to the East Midlands occasionally.
