About the Role

Laravel Developer

Salary, £35,000 to £45,000

Location, Norwich outskirts, Norfolk, hybrid working with two to three days per week in the office

If you are currently building fairly standard PHP or WordPress sites and want to step into something more technically involved, this is your opportunity to work on complex, logic driven platforms in a high growth online entertainment environment.

In this role, you will:

Build and develop Laravel based applications as the platform evolves
Refactor and migrate existing WordPress functionality into modern Laravel architecture
Develop interactive user journeys with multiple logic paths and integrations
Ensure performance, scalability and clean code standards
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on feature delivery and improvements
Contribute to long term platform strategy and technical decisions
Your work will directly shape how the platform scales, performs and supports continued growth.

You will likely be a strong fit if you bring:

Commercial Laravel experience
Strong PHP fundamentals and understanding of modern development principles
Some WordPress experience, particularly where legacy systems are involved
Confidence working with complex logic flows and integrations
A proactive mindset and desire to improve systems, not just maintain them
The ability to work independently while remaining collaborative

This role is based on the outskirts of Norwich, approximately a 20 minute drive from Norwich city centre. Due to the location, you will require access to a car. The position offers hybrid working with two to three days per week in the office.
