CRM Executive
Email, SMS & Member Retention
Salary: circa £30,000
Location: Norwich outskirts, Norfolk (office-based)
CloudScope is recruiting on behalf of a growing online entertainment business that’s investing heavily in customer retention and lifecycle marketing.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a data-minded CRM Executive who wants their work to matter. You won’t be stuck pressing send on pre-built campaigns. You’ll be shaping how customers engage, return, and stay loyal.
If you enjoy improving open rates, testing ideas, and seeing direct commercial impact from your campaigns, this role will keep you motivated.
You’ll join a focused CRM team where business-as-usual campaigns are already performing well, but there’s real appetite to do more. The leadership team wants someone who can bring ideas, insight and curiosity into retention, early-life journeys, and win-back strategies and they’ll listen to you.
You’ll work across email, SMS and app-style communications, using data to decide what to send, when to send it, and who should receive it.
The Role:
- Build and optimise email & SMS campaigns that directly improve open rates, engagement and second purchases
- Work on retention, churn prevention and win-back flows, helping customers stay active for longer
- Create and improve automations so campaigns work harder without manual effort
- A/B test subject lines, content, timing and journeys, learning what genuinely drives behaviour
- Analyse reporting and segmentation, so decisions are based on insight, not guesswork
- Support subscription growth and early-life retention, influencing customers at the most critical stages
- Work beyond revenue alone, focusing on funnel performance, repeat usage and lifecycle health
- Contribute creative ideas, not just execute instructions — experimentation is encouraged
- Gain hands-on experience with Klaviyo (or transfer skills from tools like Braze)
- You’ll be supported, but trusted with the chance to grow into a more senior CRM or lifecycle role as the business scales.
About You
You’ll likely have 1–3 years’ experience in CRM, retention or lifecycle marketing, and enjoy working with data as much as creative ideas.
Experience in some of the following will help you succeed:
- Email, SMS or app-based CRM channels
- Retention, win-back or churn reduction strategies
- Subscription or repeat-purchase models
- Automation and flow building
- A/B testing and experimentation
- Reporting, segmentation and performance analysis
- Klaviyo experience is helpful, but not essential — transferable CRM platform experience is welcomed.
