About the Role

Social Media Manager | £45000 - £55000 | Norwich Outskirts

Drop the Vanity Metrics. Drive Real Community Equity.

Most social media roles reduce your impact to counting likes and scheduling generic posts that do nothing to move the commercial needle. This is not one of them.

We are partnering with a market-leading digital entertainment business on the outskirts of Norwich to find a commercially minded Social Media Manager. Operating at a significant scale with substantial marketing backing, this company does not just post content; they build highly active digital ecosystems. This in-office position sits right at the intersection of brand strategy, community scaling, and performance revenue.

The head office is situated outside the city centre, meaning the ability to drive and access a car will be highly beneficial for your daily commute.

Why this role is different

  • True Strategic Autonomy: You aren't just managing a calendar. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will fully own the organic roadmap and growth strategy across all primary channels, including major dedicated Facebook communities.

  • Data-Led Performance Engineering: Move past basic engagement scores. You will define and control a robust KPI framework that connects audience reach directly to customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value metrics.

  • Pioneer AI-Driven Workflows: Step into a forward-thinking environment where your technical curiosity is rewarded. You will actively implement, train, and refine advanced AI marketing tools to optimize workflow efficiency, extract deep performance insights, and elevate organic campaign delivery.

The Practical Benefits

  • Salary & Performance: £32,000 to £38,000 dependent on experience, supplemented by a competitive performance-led bonus scheme.

  • Massive Resource Support: Work backed by substantial multi-channel marketing investment, giving you the production budgets, design collaboration, and tools necessary to launch viral, high-performing campaigns.

  • High-Visibility Influence: Take a seat at the table. You will translate complex performance data and conversion insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

What you bring to the table

You possess proven experience developing and scaling organic social media strategies at a significant commercial scale. You are a calm, pragmatic operator with exceptional copywriting skills who blends creative storytelling with hard analytical rigour. You are entirely comfortable utilizing advanced data analytics to justify content decisions and build performance frameworks.

While not strictly required, a genuine, authentic interest in automotive culture, high-performance vehicles, and enthusiast communities will give your application a massive competitive advantage.
